Most apps work perfectly. GrapheneOS supports Sandboxed Google Play, which lets you install Google services in an isolated container. Apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, banking apps, and Snapchat all work — but Google can't access anything else on your phone.

Yes. Enable Sandboxed Google Play (takes about 2 minutes), and these apps install and run like they would on any Android phone. The difference is they're sandboxed — they only see what you allow.

A second PIN you set yourself. If you're ever in a situation where you need to hand over your phone, entering the duress PIN triggers a full factory reset. The phone wipes itself and shows a blank setup screen.
